How bold will you be?

#BeBoldForChange is the call to action globally for #IWD2017 International Women’s Day 2017! On March 8 all over the world women and men will celebrate, collaborate and join forces to create a more gender inclusive world.

#IWD2017 is about having choice, a voice and taking action! It can be as simple as connecting with your daughters and nieces and having bold conversations about what’s important to them in a genderless and diverse society? Or connecting with women closest to you and discussing what bold actions you will take to shift the conversation about gender inclusivity in all areas of society. Over lunch, dinner or a few glasses of wine perhaps? Here are some ways you can be involved globally click HERE

#Rise2025 boldly stepped into new partnerships with Unitec Institute of Technology and Pacifica Arts Centre this year. We are proud to align with organisations who believe in collective leadership, support women and diversity and understand learning is a life-long journey. One of the highlights for me was to be welcomed onto Te Noho Kotahitanga Marae.

This week we welcomed new wāhine (women) who created courageous conversations about their learning and leadership journey. As a values-based coaching and leadership programme we aspire to live the #Rise2025 values:

Kotahitanga (unity)
Whanaungatanga (connection and family)
Manaakitanga (respect and kindness)
Ahurutanga (nurture)
Oritetanga (equality and diversity)
Auahatanga (creativity)

Imagine the communities, corporations and families we can serve when we take 100% responsibility for self and the choices we make in life. The possibilities are infinite, limitless and so exciting!

Our focus is serving indigenous women globally through Rise coaching and leadership programme an ICF – International Coach Federation approved programme in partnership with Empower World. The reality for many indigenous women and their communities today is that things are not equal, equitable or empowering. Read The World Economic Forum report HERE to understand where we stand today.

Today we invite you to take an action with #Rise2025 and complete this simple #IWD2017 survey. Make your voice heard, it takes 1 minute to complete. Be bold today!

To end an inspiring week we welcome Magdalena Mook as our new Rise Ambassador. Magda is the CEO and Executive Director of ICF – International Coach Federation. Today she shares her experience and outlook on the bold and bright future of coaching, women in leadership and her recent experience in Aotearoa, New Zealand of our indigenous Māori culture.
